Jerry Akin is an author, podcaster, and lead pastor of Pierce Chapel Methodist Church in Columbus, GA. Driven by a passion for spiritual formation, Jerry believes that cultivating a heart aligned with the heart of Jesus is the key to making a meaningful impact in the world. Through his content, Jerry aims to inspire and guide others in deepening their relationship with Christ.

When not creating content or serving his community, Jerry cherishes moments with his lovely wife, Clare, and their children, Liam and Hannah Clare. He also enjoys running, playing the guitar, and spending time in the great outdoors.

Jerry is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. He graduated from the University of Alabama, Candler School of Theology, and Duke University, where he earned a Doctor of Ministry Degree. He is dedicated to sharing wisdom and insights that foster spiritual growth.
